Farm Jam Brings Newfield Community Together Through

Live Music, Local Food and Outdoor Entertainment

Things really “sprung forward” this season at Newfield!

March marked the launch of Farm Jam – an engaging event series taking place on the first Friday of each month. Farm Jam has quickly become one of the most anticipated events at Newfield Farm, celebrating local love while bringing the community together through live music, fresh and delicious foods, and outdoor entertainment.

Each Farm Jam features a different food truck from across the region, as well as farm-fresh tastings from local artisans through Newfield Farm’s Harvest House – our community supported agriculture building (CSA) – which remains open late during the event. Since its inception in January, Harvest House has provided programs that allow locals to access fresh produce and products from Newfield Farm and nearby farms and artisans. The new building features a retail store inside the barn where visitors can purchase these goods, and those who sign up for the Harvest Box program can also pick up their weekly box of curated farm-fresh items, enabling Newfield Farm visitors to easily take home their locally sourced, farm-fresh goods.

The family-friendly Farm Jam events also include classic yard games – from Corn Hole and Tic-Tac-Toe to a kids’ obstacle course – and upbeat music from talented local bands. So far, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting (or, dare we say, “jamming” out to) Becks Brotherhood, The Kevin McLoughlin Band, and Vintage Radio Band.
