This relaxed, self-guided scavenger hunt invites neighbors of all ages to step outside, slow down, and explore the small green spaces that make our neighborhood special.

Participants can use the scavenger hunt checklist and visit each pocket park at their own pace. Along the way, you’ll look for everyday natural features like different types of leaves, flowers, birds, benches, or park art — all while enjoying light movement and time outdoors.

This event is all about reconnecting with nature close to home, encouraging wellness, and bringing the community together in our shared green spaces. Whether you stop by one park or visit them all, Walk in the Park Day is a wonderful opportunity to get outside and appreciate the beauty just steps from your door.
