newfield welcomes its first summer u-pick harvest

There’s a new way to experience the farm at Newfield!

We’re excited to officially launch our new U-Pick program at Newfield Farm, inviting our community to step into the fields and harvest fresh produce straight from the source. Designed to bring guests closer to the land, the program offers a hands-on way to experience the flavors of the season while supporting local agriculture right here in Palm City.

Guests can explore the fields, pick their favorite produce, and pay based on what they harvest. The program is open to everyone and designed to be a fun, family-friendly experience for all ages. This season’s harvest includes a variety of fresh vegetables and flowers, including peppers, cucumbers, broccoli, cabbage, red onions, yellow onions, zucchini, carrots, wildflowers, and sunflowers, with plans to expand what’s grown in future seasons.

Last weekend’s kickoff summer harvest featured fresh broccoli and blooming sunflowers ready for picking at peak harvest, giving visitors a firsthand look at the farm and a chance to take home something freshly picked from the fields.

Beyond the experience itself, the U-Pick program also supports local farmers and small businesses while helping keep dollars within the community.

No reservations or special equipment are needed; guests are encouraged to simply come ready to explore the farm and enjoy the experience.

U-Pick Hours:

Friday | 3 PM – 6 PM
Saturday | 10 AM – 4 PM
Sunday | 12 PM – 4 PM
