A New Home for Recreation at Newfield

There’s a new place to play at Newfield!

Last month, we officially opened The Fields at Newfield, bringing 20 acres of new outdoor recreation to the community. From soccer games and playground adventures to quick access to trails, The Fields offers something for all ages to enjoy.

The new space includes four soccer fields, a playground, pavilion and concession area, spectator seating and a trailhead connecting directly to KC Trails at Newfield.

We kicked things off with an action-packed opening day featuring the inaugural Florida Kickoff Cup, hosted in partnership with Florida Sports Leagues. Youth and adult teams were among the first to take the new fields, while families and visitors explored the space, enjoyed food trucks and activities, and stopped by The Market at Newfield Farm.

And opening day was just the beginning. With sports leagues and recreational programming coming to The Fields, there will be plenty of new ways to get outside, get moving and spend time together at Newfield.
