Residents Enjoy Chef-Led “Holiday Sides” Cooking Class at Newfield Farm

Last month, Newfield Farm’s very own Chef Daniel kicked off the holiday season by leading a festive resident-only cooking class centered around flavorful holiday side dishes using fresh, seasonal vegetables from Newfield Farm.

From classic favorites like creamy mashed potatoes and green bean casserole to creative new twists on stuffing and roasted veggies, Chef Daniel guided Newfield residents step-by-step as he prepared several holiday sides that could easily steal the main course’s spotlight – and sure to be the talk of any holiday dinner table!

As they followed Chef Daniel’s lead, participants gained the skills and confidence necessary to prepare each dish just in time for holiday hosting (or gaining a spot as the favorite guest!)  

At the end of the class, each resident enjoyed complimentary refreshments along with the delicious bites prepared by Chef Daniel.
